Coaching College Readiness: Helping Students Advance Their Potential,
One Skill at a Time
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who is doing the coaching/skill-building?
A: Loni Rowe, licensed clinical social worker, and Katie Vandervalk, speech/language pathologist and ADHD coach.

Q: How many students are in a group? How do you decide who can join?
A: We cap our groups at 10 students and place students in groups based on several factors, including: skill level, insight/motivation, and overall goals.
Q: What happens when the group is over and it's time to start school?
A: You and your student will have access to all of the materials we used during our group time. In addition, we are available to your student via 'phone consultation' (most likely text) throughout their first academic school year.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: We have a 3-step process that starts with an initial 15-minute consultation that is free. After this call, you can decided if you'd like your student to participate in the group. The next step in the process is a phone/Zoom intake with the parent. This is when we'll learn more about your student's strengths and challenges, and we'll begin to formulate our focus. This conversation is about one-hour long and costs $150.00.
